İngilizce'de cümleleri anlam bakımından birbirinden bağlamak için "Transition" bağlaç
grubu kullanılır. Bu bağlaç türünün yapısal özelliği (Gramer) şu şekildedir:
CÜMLE.BAĞLAÇ,CÜMLE
Yani; Transition bağlaçları iki cümle arasına gelerek onları anlam bakımından
bağlar ve Transition bağlaç türünden hemen sonra virgül kullanmak şarttır. Daha
iyi anlaşılması için aşağıda bazı örnekler vereceğim:
a) BUT (CONJUNTION)= AMA, FAKAT : He studied hard, but he
could not pass
b) HOWEVER (TRANSITION) = AMA, FAKAT = He studied hard. However, He
could not pass.
