Burçlar sâhibi göğe andolsun, |
| By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars,, |
|
| 2. |
Va'dedilen güne andolsun, |
| And by the Promised Day. |
|
| 3. |
(O gün) Şâhide ve şâhidlik edilene andolsun, |
| And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, |
|
| 4. |
Ki kahroldu o hendeğin adamları |
| (Self-) destroyed were the owners of the ditchh |
|
| 5. |
O yakıt doldurulup tutuşturulmuş ateş (hendeğinin adamları)! |
| Of the fuel-fed fire, |
|
| 6. |
Onlar, o(ateş hendeği)nin başında oturmuşlardı. |
| When they sat by it, |
|
| 7. |
Ve onlar, mü'minlere yaptıklarını seyrediyorlardı. |
| And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. |
|
| 8. |
Mü'minler sırf aziz, övgüye lâyık Allah'a inandıkları için o (zâlim)ler onlardan öc aldılar. |
| They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, |
|
| 9. |
O (Allah) ki göklerin ve yerin hükümranlığı O'nundur. Allâh, her şeye tanıktır. |
| Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. |
|
| 10. |
İnanmış erkek ve kadınlara işkence edip sonra (yaptıklarına) tevbe etmeyenler (yok mu), onlar için cehennem azâbı vardır ve onlar için yangın azâbı vardır. |
| Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. |

İnanan ve iyi işler yapan kimseler için de altlarından ırmaklar akan cennetler vardır. İşte büyük başarı budur. |
| Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. |
|
| 12. |
Şüphesiz Rabbinin tutuşu şiddetlidir. |
| Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. |
|
| 13. |
İlkin var eden, sonra geri çevirip yeniden yaratan O'dur. |
| Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, |
|
| 14. |
O bağışlayandır, sevendir. |
| And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, |
|
| 15. |
Arş'ın sâhibidir, yücedir. |
| Lord of the Throne of Glory, |
|
| 16. |
İstediğini yapandır. |
| Doer of what He will. |
|
| 17. |
O orduların haberi sana geldi mi? |
| Hath there come unto thee the story of the hostss |
|
| 18. |
(Yani) Fir'avn ve Semûd(kavimlerin)in? |
| Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? |
|
| 19. |
Doğrusu, nânkörler bir yalanlama içindedirler. |
| Nay, but those who disbelieve live in deniall |
|
| 20. |
Allâh ise onları arkalarından kuşatmıştır. |
| And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. |
|
| 21. |
Hayır, (Kur'ân, onların dedikleri gibi bir söz değil), o şerefli bir Kur'ân'dır. |
| Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'ann |
|
| 22. |
Korunan bir levhada(yazılı)dır. |
| On a guarded tablet. |
