| Ha. Mim. |

| 2. |
Apaçık Kitaba andolsun ki, |
| By the Scripture that maketh plainn |
|
| 3. |
Biz onu mübârek bir gecede indirdik. Çünkü biz, uyarıcıyız. |
| Lo! We revealed it on a blessed night - Lo! We are ever warning. |
|
| 4. |
Her hikmetli emir, o gecede ayırdedilir; |
| Whereupon every wise command is made clearr |
|
| 5. |
Katımızdan (verilen her) emir. Çünkü biz elçi göndericiyiz. |
| As a command from Our presence - Lo! We are ever sendingg |
|
| 6. |
Senin Rabbinin acıması gereği olarak (gönderdiğimiz elçilere o gece emirlerimizi açıklar, vahiylerimizi bildiririz). Doğrusu O, işitendir, bilendir. |
| A mercy from thy Lord. Lo! He is the Hearer, the Knower, |
|
| 7. |
Eğer kesin olarak inanıyorsanız (bilin ki Allâh), göklerin, yerin ve ikisi arasında bulunanların Rabbidir. |
| Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if ye would be sure. |
|
| 8. |
O'ndan başka tanrı yoktur, yaşatır, öldürür. Sizin de Rabbiniz, önceki atalarınızın da Rabbidir. |
| There is no God save Him. He quickeneth and giveth death; your Lord and Lord of your forefathers. |
|
| 9. |
Ama onlar, şüphe içinde oynuyorlar. |
| Nay, but they play in doubt. |
|
| 10. |
Göğün, açık bir duman getireceği günü gözetle. |
| But watch thou (O Muhammad) for the Day when the sky will produce visible smokee |
|
| 11. |
(Duman) İnsanları sarar. Bu, acı bir azâbdır. |
| That will envelop the people. This will be a painful torment. |
|
| 12. |
Rabbimiz, bizden azâbı kaldır, çünkü biz artık inanıyoruz derler. |
| (Then they will say): Our Lord, relieve us of the torment! Lo! we are believers: |
|
| 13. |
Artık onlar nasıl düşünüp öğüt alacaklar (öğüt alma zamanı geçti)? Oysa kendilerine apaçık bir elçi gelmişti. |
| How can there be remembrance for them, when a messenger making plain (the truth) had already come unto them, |
|
| 14. |
Ondan yüz çevirdiler: "Bu, öğretilmiştir, cinlenmiştir" dediler. |
| And they had turned away from him and said: One taught (by others), a madman? |
|
| 15. |
Biz sizden azâbı birazcık kaldırırız ama siz yine (inkârınıza) dönersiniz. |
| Lo! We withdraw the torment a little. Lo! ye return (to disbelief). |
|
| 16. |
O gün büyük vuruşla vururuz; zira biz öc alıcıyız! |
| On the Day when We shall seize them with the greater seizure (then), in truth We shall punish. |
|
| 17. |
Andolsun, onlardan önce Fir'avn toplumunu da (imkânlar vererek) sınadık. Onlara değerli bir elçi geldi, (şöyle diyerek): |
| And verily We tried before them Pharaoh's folk, when there came unto them a noble messenger, |
|
| 18. |
Allâh'ın kullarını bana teslim edin; çünkü ben sizin için güvenilir bir elçiyim. |
| Saying: Give up to me the slaves of Allah. Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you. |
|
| 19. |
Allah'a karşı ululanmayın. Ben size apaçık bir delil getiriyorum. |
| And saying: Be not proud against Allah. Lo! I bring you a clear warrant. |
|
| 20. |
Ben, beni taşla(yıp öldür)menizden, benim de Rabbim, sizin de Rabbiniz olan(Allâh)a sığındım. |
| And lo! I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord lest ye stone me to death. |
|
| 21. |
Eğer bana inanmadınızsa bari ben(im yolum)dan çekilin. |
| And if ye put no faith in me, then let me goo |
|
| 22. |
Sonra (Mûsâ): "Bunlar, suç işleyen bir toplumdur!" diye Rabbine du'â etti. |
| And he cried unto his Lord (saying): These are guilty folk. |
|
| 23. |
(Allâh): "O halde kullarımı geceleyin yürüt. Çünkü takibedileceksiniz" (dedi). |
| Then (his Lord commanded): Take away My slaves by night. Lo! ye will be followed, |
|
| 24. |
Denizi (yarıp toplumunu geçirdikten sonra olduğu gibi) açık bırak. Çünkü onlar boğulacak bir ordudur. |
| And leave the sea behind at rest, for lo! they are a drowned host. |
|
| 25. |
Onlar geride nice şeyler bıraktılar: Bahçeler, çeşmeler. |
| How many were the gardens and the water-springs that they left behind, |
|
| 26. |
Ekinler, güzel makamlar! |
| And the cornlands and the goodly sitess |
|
| 27. |
Ve zevkü sefa sürdükleri nice ni'metler! |
| And pleasant things wherein they took delight! |
|
| 28. |
İşte böyle oldu ve biz onları başka bir topluma mirâs verdik. |
| Even so (it was), and We made it an inheritance for other folk; |
|
| 29. |
Onlara gök ve yer ağlamadı. Ve kendilerine fırsat da verilmedi. |
| And the heaven and the earth wept not for them, nor were they reprieved. |
|
| 30. |
Andolsun biz, İsrâil oğullarını o küçültücü azâbdan kurtardık: |
| And We delivered the Children of Israel from the shameful doomm |
|
| 31. |
Fir'avn'dan. Çünkü o, (insanları ezip) ululanan, sınırı aşanlardan biri idi. |
| (We delivered them) from Pharaoh. Lo! he was a tyrant of the wanton ones. |
|
| 32. |
Andolsun biz, onları bir bilgiye göre âlemlere üstün kıldık. |
| And We chose them, purposely, above (all) creatures. |
|
| 33. |
Onlara, içinde açık bir sınav bulunan âyetler verdik. |
| And We gave them portents wherein was a clear trial. |
|
| 34. |
Şunlar (Kureyş kâfirleri) de diyorlar ki: |
| Lo! these, forsooth, are saying: |
|
| 35. |
İlk ölümümüzden sonra bir şey yoktur. Biz diriltilecek değiliz. |
| There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again. |
|
| 36. |
Doğru söylüyorsanız, babalarımızı getirin. |
| Bring back our fathers, if ye speak the truth! |
|
| 37. |
Onlar mı hayırlı, yoksa Tubba' kavmi ve onlardan önce gelen(kavim)ler mi? Suç işledikleri için biz onların hepsini helâk ettik. |
| Are they better, or the folk of Tubb'a and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. |
|
| 38. |
Biz gökleri, yeri ve bunlar arasında bulunanları eğlenmek için yaratmadık! |
| And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play. |
|
| 39. |
Onları sadece gerçek bir sebeple, (hikmetli bir gâye ile) yarattık. Fakat onların çoğu bilmiyorlar. |
| We created them not save with truth; but most of them know not. |
|
| 40. |
(Hakkın bâtıldan ayrılacağı) Hüküm günü, hepsinin varacağı gündür. |
| Assuredly the Day of Decision is the term of all of them, |
|
| 41. |
O gün dost, dostundan bir şey savamaz. Ve onlara yardım da edilmez. |
| A day when friend can in naught avail friend, nor can they be helped, |
|
| 42. |
Ancak Allâh'ın acıdığı kimseler (kurtulur). Şüphesiz O, üstündür esirgeyendir. |
| Save him on whom Allah hath mercy. Lo! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. |
|
| 43. |
Zakkum ağacı, |
| Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, |
|
| 44. |
Günâhkârların yemeğidir. |
| The food of the sinner! |
|
| 45. |
Pota gibi karınlarda kaynar. |
| Like molten brass, it seetheth in their belliess |
|
| 46. |
Sıcak suyun kaynaması gibi. |
| As the seething of boiling water. |
|
| 47. |
(Allâh, zebânilere emreder): "Tutun onu, cehennemin ortasına sürükleyin." |
| (And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell, |
|
| 48. |
Sonra başının üstüne kaynar su azâbından dökün! |
| Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. |
|
| 49. |
Tad, zira sen kendince üstündün, şerefliydin. |
| (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! |
|
| 50. |
İşte o kuşkulanıp durduğunuz şey budur!" |
| Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. |
